This page explains what to do if something you bought from Cobra Tech is faulty, not as described, or not what you wanted. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty or not as described
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If an item arrives faulty, damaged or different from the product page, email sale@cobra-tech.com.au with:
- your order number;
- the item and what is wrong with it;
- photos or a short video if they help show the problem.
We will reply with the next step, which may be some troubleshooting, a return to us, or a pickup for PCs under warranty. Please do not send anything back before we have confirmed how to return it.

Change of mind
[Change-of-mind policy: whether change-of-mind returns are accepted, the time limit, the condition items must be in (for example unopened and in original packaging), who pays return postage, and any items that cannot be returned for change of mind, such as opened software, custom builds and build services.]
Custom builds and services
A custom PC is assembled from parts you chose. [Policy on cancelling or returning a custom build once the build has started.] Build and upgrade services that have been carried out cannot be returned, but your consumer guarantees still apply to the work and the parts.
Refunds
Approved refunds go back to the payment method you used. [How long refunds take to process once the item is received and checked.] If an order used a discount code, the refund is for the amount you paid.
