Every PC from Cobra Tech comes with a pickup repair and return warranty, and you can extend it when you buy. Parts carry their manufacturer’s warranty. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply on top of both.
PC warranty
Prebuilt and custom PCs include 1 year of unlimited free pickup repair and return. If the PC needs repair in that time, the cost of collecting it from you and sending it back is covered, with no limit on the number of repairs.
You can choose a longer warranty on the product page before you add a PC to the cart:
| Option | Price |
|---|---|
| 1 year unlimited free pickup repair and return | Included |
| 2 years unlimited free pickup repair and return | $99 |
| 3 years unlimited free pickup repair and return | $199 |
| 3 years unlimited urgent free onsite or pickup repair and return | $199 |
The extended warranty is linked to the PC in your cart and shows on your order.
[What the PC warranty covers and does not cover, for example accidental damage, liquid damage, parts added or changed after purchase, and software or virus problems.]
Parts warranty
Graphics cards, processors, motherboards, memory, storage, power supplies, cases, monitors and peripherals bought on their own carry the manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty period is listed on each product page.
[How to claim on a part: through Cobra Tech, or directly with the manufacturer.]
How to make a claim
- Email sale@cobra-tech.com.au with your order number, what is wrong and when it started.
- We may ask you to try some quick checks, such as reseating a cable or updating a driver, as many problems are fixed this way.
- If the PC needs repair, we arrange the pickup and let you know when it is on its way back.
Back up your files before a PC is collected. Repairs can involve replacing the drive or reinstalling Windows.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits of the warranties on this page are in addition to your other rights and remedies under the law. [Warrantor details for the warranty against defects: business name, ABN, address, phone and email.]
